The single mom who went viral for sobbing while making a cake for her birthday so her “babies can be happy” has entered into a bitter back-and-forth with her ex-husband, claiming he’s abusive and a member of the Church of Scientology.

Elizabeth Teckenbrock, 29, has released a video rebutting her ex-husband Andrew Cormier, 37, after he spoke out claiming he has full custody of their children, bringing up her past fraud charges and asserting she “barely knows her kids.”

“Andrew has created TikToks, websites, essentially everything since I left him,” she claimed in a 9-minute follow-up video. 

“I think that it’s probably the Scientologist aspect of his life … Getting out of a Scientologist mindset in a relationship is not a good thing or an easy thing.”

Teckenbrock alleges Cormier was “extremely abusive” to her during their marriage and claims that on the morning he posted the video exposing that he has custody of their children and her past arrest, he told her he would “not destroy” her life if she deleted her social media accounts.

She claims to have deleted her accounts, adding that she’s been “mentally not okay” since then. 

She then went into detail, alleging she does “see her children.”

“I don’t not see my children. I’m the one who hosts their birthday parties. I’m the one who puts them to bed. I’m the one who does everything until he pulls them away,” she claims.

Teckenbrock says the agreement she has with Cormier giving him custody of their children is because when she left him — allegedly “out of abuse” — she had “no resources, no money” and he was employed as a doctor. 

“He said, ‘If you sign these papers, nothing will change on when you see them and I will not ruin you life. I will leave you alone,’” she claims her ex said. 

A tearful Teckenbrock claims she did while in a “mentally bad state.”

She adamantly explains that Cormier is not nor has he been abusive to their children and would “never hurt them.”

She then went into the events leading up to the original viral video of her crying while making a cake. 

Teckenbrock then shifts to say Cormier allegedly has restraining orders out against him from other women.

“Instead you see everything you looked me up, which is essentially coming from one man who is out to destroy my life,” she says. “That is in the nature of being a Scientologist. That is what they do and if you knew anything about them, you would know that.”

The mother of two then admits she’s not a “perfect person” or “mom” and says that after her divorce, she went out drinking with friends because she felt “trapped in an abusive marriage” before they separated. 

She then claims again that he allegedly did not like the attention she was getting from her video and went on the attack to expose her. 

“I cried on my birthday, and that was like the saddest thing because he wouldn’t allow my daughters to come over,” she said.

“I have tried for three years not to expose him on the internet. To not talk about who he is because as a mother, that is the right thing to do.”

Teckenbrock claims her family and friends advised her to “come forward” about her ex.

“Since I have been 16 years old and became a mother, I’ve devoted my life and my time to being a mom … but there has never been a time that my children have been unsafe in my care,” she said, again admitting she has gone out with friends in the past while being a mother.

“I have never hurt my children or put them in any situation of danger.”

She claims that a year before leaving Cormier, she “went into psychosis from extreme trauma” and alleges that during that time, her ex turned “every single person” in her life against her.

“Unless you’ve been in a situation with someone of abuse, mental, physical, it does not matter. You don’t even understand what comes along with that,” she said.

“What is going on is not right. Me getting death threats when I stay home with my kids every day is not right because a man that I left will always try and destroy my life. Forever,” Teckenbrock said while breaking down in tears.

She then posted a cease-and-desist letter from her attorneys filed in Florida against Cormier.

Cormier has responded to Teckenbrock’s claims, saying he’s not a Scientologist and did not create the website.

He said in the coming days, he will be posting “straight facts” to rebut all the claims she has made against him.

The mother has admitted to past mistakes, including an arrest for fraud confirmed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Teckenbrock’s TikTok account, where she posted the original viral video, has been deactivated.

However, her Instagram account remains active.

A website has also appeared online with Teckenbrock’s mugshot and arrest history, but claims to be posted by “Just a few of her fans researching their favorite Public Figure & celebrity!”
