A cruise passenger desperately tried to wiggle themselves to safety after becoming trapped inside a water slide more than 100 feet above the ocean, a viral TikTok shows.

The startling video, posted to the viral “Jet2 Holiday” sound bite, shows a woman stuck inside the transparent tube above the roaring waves.

The distressed passenger is seen attempting to get down the slide with her arms fully extended by scooting her body forward.

Other passengers who noticed she was trapped began to scream, as one bystander can be heard saying, “Oh my God, she’s literally stuck,” as the 13-second TikTok comes to an end.

The TikTokker who posted the video did not specify on which cruise line the incident occurred.

The vessel, however, closely resembles Norwegian Cruise Line’s Bliss, which Cruisemapper shows was sailing a seven-day round-trip Alaskan cruise off the coast of Victoria, British Columbia, on Sept. 19, according to People.

The ship also has a double-looped water slide onboard called Ocean Loops.

The slide has passengers stand on a trap door that opens, plunging adrenaline junkies into a ride through loops that jut 11 feet off the ship and are suspended 159 feet over the water before they are released into a pool onboard, according to Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Norwegian’s site lists the ride’s requirements as a minimum height of 40 inches and a weight between 120 and 300 pounds.

The viral TikTok, which has amassed over 7 million views since being posted and nearly 250,000 likes, had users trembling over the scary situation.

“Anyone else having a panic attack watching this?” one commenter wrote.

“Stuck in a waterslide over actual ocean water would send me into a psychosis,” another shared.

“TikTok has definitely taught me to NEVER get in a cruise water slide,” wrote another.

“I know she aint NEVER going in one these again,” another user added.

While it’s unclear if the woman was able to scoot her way to safety, one user alleged that the tube is fitted with an emergency hatch — ready for staff to pop open if a rider gets stuck.

This isn’t the first time a cruise passenger has allegedly become trapped inside Norwegian Cruise Line’s Ocean Loops slide.

In 2022, a video showed a different female thrill seekerappearing to become trapped inside the attraction’s massive waterslide over the ocean

However, the poster of the video said the woman was freed “so quickly” that “by the time I walked that way, she was out and ready to do the slide again.”

Just last month, another cruise water slide incident happened when a glass panel shattered mid-ride aboard Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas.

Dramatic footage showed water gushing from the damaged slide as guests screamed, “Stop the slide!”

The cruise line later confirmed a male passenger was injured and received medical attention, though details on the injury were not released.
