A Russian toddler teeters on the edge of death in this gut-wrenching video.

The 2-year-old child was eight stories up — and one step away from falling to his death — in the two minutes of footage, captured by a neighbor in Miass, Central European News reported.

Yet the young boy nonchalantly arabesques out the window and peers over the ledge while concerned neighbors observed the terrifying act and called the police.

Luckily, the fearless child eventually grew bored and went back inside.

A spokesperson for the boy’s family said they were shocked when told about what had transpired while they weren’t paying attention.
