Flood waters in Houston forced one of the world’s most famous cancer institutes to cancel all appointments and surgeries Monday.

“MD Anderson is closed for all patient appointments and surgeries today and plans to remain closed tomorrow,” MD Anderson Cancer Center tweeted.

MD Anderson said it will still be able to care for current patients.

“We’re grateful for all of our employees who are here providing exceptional care for our patients during” this storm, it said.
