It’s a quack way to get around.

As heavy rains caused floods across southeast Texas on Sunday amid Tropical Storm Hanna, video showed some locals making the most of the wild weather — by tying rope to a giant inflatable duck, hitching it to their truck and chauffeuring kids through the neighborhood.

In the clip posted to Twitter by user @wizardofozma, a red pickup casually makes its way down a flooded residential street in Edinburg as three girls ride lazily along in the giant yellow duck-turned-boat.

ā€œOnly in the Valley! Poor man’s Venice,ā€ the video caption says.

Meanwhile, in McAllen, Texas an impassable ā€œcanalā€ formed along at least one residential street, according to video posted by Twitter user @hashtagwarfreek.

Hanna made landfall as a hurricane on Saturday, before being downgraded to a tropical storm.

Parts of South Texas got at least 9 inches of rain.
