President Trump blasted the attack on a Dallas ICE facility on Wednesday, saying that the “Deranged Radical Leftists” were to blame for the shooting that killed one migrant and left two others criticall wounded.

“The Brave Men and Women of ICE are just trying to do their jobs, and remove the ‘WORST of the WORST’ Criminals out of our Country, but they are facing an unprecedented increase in threats, violence, and attacks by Deranged Radical Leftists,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The sniper, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, opened fire on the Texas field office early Wednesday, striking the three detainees who had been transported to the facility for processing.

“It has now been revealed the deranged shooter wrote “Anti-ICE” on his shell casings. This is despicable!” Trump wrote, referencing shell casings found near the gunman’s body after the shooting.

Here's what we know about the Dallas ICE facility shooting

• A gunman identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn opened fire on an ICE van at a detention center in Dallas, Texas, in the early hours of Sept. 24.
• Jahn began shooting while detainees were being transferred and the portcullis to the facility was open, reports claim.
• One person died and two were wounded, according to reports. Jahn was found dead on a nearby rooftop from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
• There was writing on the bullets, with one reading “ANTI-ICE,” according to the FBI.
• The shooting is being investigated “as an act of targeted violence,” the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Dallas Field Office, Joe Rothrock, said in a press conference.

Jahn was found on a nearby roof from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Trump said the increase in violence stems from the “Radical Left Democrats” who demonize of law enforcement and call ICE agents “Nazis.”

“The continuing violence from Radical Left Terrorists, in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, must be stopped. ICE Officers, and other Brave Members of Law Enforcement, are under grave threat,” he said.

The 79-year-old president, who declared Antifa a domestic terrorism organization earlier this week, called for Democrats to end their anti-ICE speech.

“I AM CALLING ON ALL DEMOCRATS TO STOP THIS RHETORIC AGAINST ICE AND AMERICA’S LAW ENFORCEMENT, RIGHT NOW!” the president said. “The Trump Administration is fully committed to backing Law Enforcement, Strong Borders, securing our Homeland, deporting Violent Illegal Criminals, and fully rooting out the Left Wing Domestic Terrorism that is terrorizing our Country.”

The FBI announced it was investigating the shooting as a “targeted attack,” but assured all federal agents were accounted for.

One of the detainees wounded was identified as a Mexican national and is currently hospitalized receiving medical care, Mexico’s Foreign Affairs Ministry announced. 

“Consular officials have contacted the victim’s family to provide support and legal assistance,” officials said in a statement.
