Former President Donald Trump called for the release of the five Americans still held hostage by Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

“Let’s all continue to keep the American hostages held in Gaza in our thoughts. They must be brought home!” the Republican presidential nominee, 78, posted on Truth Social Tuesday.

The five hostages — Edan Alexander, Omer Neutra, Hersh Goldberg Polin, Sagui Dekel-Chen and Keith Siegel — have been held by Hamas since they were kidnapped on Oct. 7, when Hamas killed some 1,200 Israelis and took another 250 hostage.

Roughly 120 hostages in total are still held by the terror group 10 months later.

However, ongoing, American-backed cease-fire and hostage talks have been indefinitely stalled parties await Iran’s promised military response to the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, a key negotiator who was assassinated in Iran last week.

Fuad Shukr, a commander of the Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, was also killed in a Beirut attack, prompting another ominous threat against Israel from the Iran-allied militants.

The talks in Qatar will not resume until it’s clear how Iran and Hezbollah will retaliate against Israel for the assassination, officials familiar with the tense negotiations said Monday.

Hamas has been unwilling to continue talks until it elects a replacement for Haniyeh, who led the Hamas Politburo, the council that oversees the militants’ rule over Gaza.

Trump issued a strong warning to Hamas during his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention last month, promising the terror group would pay “a very big price” if the captives were not freed.

Alexander, 19, is a New Jersey native and Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] soldier who had just graduated from high school when he was kidnapped near Gaza.

Neutra, a 22-year-old IDF first responder from New York City, was taken while rushing to protect residential villages near the Gaza border in southern Israel. His family just marked his 300th day in Hamas’ hands last week.

Goldberg-Polin, 23, had his arm blown off by a grenade when Hamas militants descended on the Supernova music festival in southern Israel on Oct. 7. Earlier this year, Goldberg-Polin appeared in a Hamas propaganda video with his amputated arm, appearing alarmingly gaunt.

Dekel-Chen, 35, was taken hostage while defending his family, whom he had locked inside their kibbutz Nir Oz home on Oct. 7. He is the son of Connecticut-born Hebrew University professor Jonathan Dekel-Chen, who has been putting pressure on US officials to secure his release.

Siegel, a 64-year-old father of four and grandfather of five from North Carolina, was kidnapped along with his wife, Aviva, a 62-year-old teacher, at their home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. He was finally confirmed to be alive in April in a video published by Hamas.

Aviva Siegel, who taught Jewish and Arab children, was among the dozens of hostages freed in a November cease-fire deal.
