With the news breaking last night that Lance Armstrong admitted to using performance enhancing drugs, it didn’t take long for the Twitterverse to explode in jokes.

Jokesters had plenty of material to use against the disgraced cyclist even before Oprah revealed that she had taped an emotional 2 1/2-hour interview with Armstrong.

“Lance Armstrong’s a cheat! Without dope he couldnt beat me at spin class!” tweeted comedian Colin Quinn.

Other’s went in a totally different direction with their humor, “It’d be nice if Lance Armstrong also apologized for persuiding so many gross people to wear spandex in public,” JennyJohnsonHi5 tweeted.
