Disgraced YouTube sensation Ruby Franke wept as she was sentenced to prison Tuesday — two months after copping to charges that she abused the very children who helped make her famous online.

Franke, who ran the popular “8 Passengers” YouTube channel, could serve up to 60 years in prison after she was slapped with four consecutive sentences of 1 to 15 years on four counts of child abuse.

“For the past four years, I’ve chosen to follow counsel and guidance that has led me into a dark delusion. My distorted version of reality went largely unchecked as I would isolate from anyone who challenged me,” Franke said tearfully in court, according to ABC News.

In December, the twisted social media star admitted to calling her children “evil and possessed” as she tortured them for years.

Franke, 42, could land in prison for decades, though a Utah parole board will ultimately decide how long she serves.

Her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, 54, received the same sentence for her part in the abuse. The judge said Hildebrandt, who was arrested alongside Franke in August, had “terrorized” the children.

Franke, who rose to internet fame with her YouTube channel “8 Passengers,” which documented the lives of her husband and six kids in Utah, was arrested in August after her 12-year-old son turned up at a neighbor’s door, emaciated and covered in wounds, with duct tape around his wrists and ankles.

The mother, who racked up over 2.5 million followers, later admitted to forcing her son to work outdoors all day in the hot desert sun and depriving him of food and water as punishment. To prevent him from escaping, she bound his arms and legs.

She also admitted to abusing her 9-year-old daughter by using similarly barbaric methods.

The 12-year-old boy told investigators that his mother would bind him with ropes. When the restraints cut him, he said she would treat the wounds with cayenne pepper.

She also punished one of her sons by banning him from his bedroom and forcing him to sleep on a living room beanbag for months. The mom also canceled Christmas one year and threatened to decapitate a daughter’s stuffed animals in a twisted method of control.

Franke’s attorney had tried to push the blame on Hildebrandt after the partner’s guilty plea – arguing the therapist “systematically isolated” the mother from her family and pushed her towards abuse.

However, Franke apologized to her children for the horrific way she treated them before her sentencing.

“To my babies, my six little chicks. You are part of me. I was the mama duck who was consistently waddling you to safety. I can see now that over the past four years, I was in a deep undercurrent that led us to danger,” she said through tears, according to Today.

“I was so disoriented that I believed dark was light and right was wrong. I would do anything in this world for you. My willingness to sacrifice all for you was masterfully manipulated … How terrifying this must have been for you. I will never stop crying for hurting your tender souls. You’re so precious to me. I’m sorry.”

“I am humbled and willing to serve a prison sentence for as long as I need,” she then told the judge. “I am committed to unlearning my toxic behavior.”

Franke’s husband Kevin filed for divorce after the arrest and expressed hope that both his wife and Hildebrandt would receive maximum sentences.

The husband has said he did not know about the abuse, as he had not been living at home for at least a year before the arrest on the urgings of Hildebrandt, who he said then cut off contact and communication with his kids, Business Insider reported.

Hildebrandt insisted she had no intention of harming Franke’s children.

“I sincerely loved these children,” she said. “One of the reasons I didn’t go to trial is I didn’t want them to relive this.”

Long before Franke’s arrest, viewers of her YouTube channel had been sounding alarms over the mother’s behavior in her videos.

Many noted her adolescent children’s apparent discomfort at having intimate details of their lives constantly filmed, Franke’s refusal to stop rolling when they asked her to, and her alarming disciplinary rhetoric and methods.

Neighbors were also uneasy about the behavior they witnessed happening next door.

“Everyone is just breathing a collective sigh of relief,” one neighbor told NBC News days after Franke’s arrest. “Because we thought they were going to come out of that house with body bags.”
