Two Americans are among eight mountain climbers who went missing as they were attempting to scale one of the highest peaks in the Indian Himalayas.
The team also includes four adventurers from the UK, and one each from Australia and India.
Their names have not been made public.
There are conflicting reports about when they were expected to return to their base camp, the BBC said. Local media reports said it was supposed to be May 31.
Nine days earlier they had posted on Facebook they would attempt to reach the summit of a never-before-climbed peak on the mountain, called Nanda Devi East.
Searchers said bad weather, including rain and snow storms, have hindered the searchers.
