There are now three active hurricanes churning in the Atlantic Ocean.

As Hurricane Irma continues to move toward Puerto Rico, Tropical Storm Katia strengthened into a hurricane off the coast of Mexico with winds of 75 mph.

Tropical Storm Jose, which is located east of Irma, has also become a full-fledged hurricane.
