A Russian military jet crashed into a Siberian two-family home Sunday, killing two Russian pilots, officials said.
Residents of the two-story building were not at home at the time of the fiery collision.
In a Telegram post, the Russian region’s governor Igor Kobzev said the plane slammed into the building — where two families were housed — in the city of Irkutsk.
Kobzev also shared video showing firefighters climbing over the wreckage and pouring jets of water over the rubble.
The plane was a Sukhoi Su-30 fighter jet on a test flight, according to officials.
Videos of Sunday’s incident posted to social media showed the jet nosedive almost vertically before crashing in a dramatic fireball that filled the air with thick black smoke.

No weapons were carried aboard the jets.
The fatal crash was the second in just six days involving a Sukhoi fighter plane.

Sunday’s fiery crash is the 11th time a non-combat crash of a Russian warplane has occurred since Moscow invaded Ukraine Feb. 24.
