A University of Arkansas student allegedly raped, choked, and threatened to break the ribs of a woman inside his fraternity house last month, disturbing police files revealed.
Crew Kvern, 19, was arrested on Sunday on rape, aggravated assault, and third-degree burglary charges for the violent attack that unfolded on St. Patrick’s Day, according to court records obtained by The Post.
The victim met the sophomore Kappa Sigma frat bro for the first time that day at a business in Fayetteville with friends, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KNWA.
Crew Kvern, 19, was arrested on charges of rape, aggravated assault and third-degree battery in Washington County on April 12, according to jail records obtained by Fox News Digital. The victim told investigators that she went to Kvern’s room after the group left — at which point he allegedly “got handsy,” documents added.
After the two started kissing, the sicko squeezed her throat to the point where she had a hard time breathing and became dizzy, the affidavit said.
When they stopped kissing, Kvern allegedly demanded to have sex with her, and after she said no, slapped her across the face and punched her, the filings stated.
An affidavit revealed that on March 17, Kvern and the unidentified victim allegedly met for the first time near Kvern’s workplace on Dickson Street, 5 News reported. Kvern even allegedly told the woman it would be easy to throw her on the floor and break her rib cage before continuing to kiss her, according to the court papers.
Documents detailed further abuse, with the victim stating she was “too scared to tell him no” after he became physically aggressive when she refused to have sex with him earlier.
She also added that she was worried she would pass out when Kvern hindered her breathing, the outlet reported.
The frat bro claimed the encounter was “totally consensual” in an interview with the university’s police department. Investigators, however, interviewed five people who corroborated the victim’s statements, the local station reported.
The pair then reportedly went to the Kappa Sigma fraternity house, where Kvern lived, authorities said. Google Maps

“Kappa Sigma Fraternity was notified of this issue, and the Chapter at the University of Arkansas has cooperated with local authorities. Kappa Sigma will not tolerate or condone any form of harassment or abusive behavior,“ the fraternity said in a statement to KNWA.
The Kappa Sigma fraternity and the University of Arkansas did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
Kvern is due back to court on May 6, the outlet said.
