Lance Armstrong tossed his seven Tour de France titles down the drain last year by rejecting a deal that would’ve let him keep five had he come clean about using performance-enhancing drugs, The Sunday Times of London writes in today’s edition.

If he’d cooperated with a US Anti-Doping Agency probe, authorities reportedly would have stripped him of his 2004 and ’05 titles and not the others, citing its eight-year statute of limitations, the paper wrote.

Multiple sources say he’ll now cop to some drug use in a TV interview with Oprah Winfrey set to tape tomorrow.
