Police in upstate New York have launched an investigation into a viral video that shows a teenager being beaten and thrown out a window, according to police and reports.

The disturbing footage, shot Saturday in the Erie County town of Clarence, shows at least three people in a room while a young boy is assaulted — at one point stomped on.

Others are heard giggling as the victim is then thrown out a window — and is then seen with his face scratched and caked with dirt, his eyes half-open.

“Ya’ll Clarence ppl wildin’,” a caption says.

At one point, someone is heard in the background saying, “Who cares?”

The incident took place in a home on Main Street, across the street from Clarence Town Park, according to WIVB-TV.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that cops have interviewed the victim and his family, and taken photos of the injuries — but have made no arrests.

“The Sheriff’s Office is aware of a social media video and rumors about the incident and the victim’s injuries,” the post said. “Deputies can confirm that victim sustained an injury, sought medical treatment, and was released.”

However, the sheriff’s office added that “many of the injuries detailed in social media posts are greatly exaggerated or even false.”

The video has nonetheless sparked outrage in the upstate community, with an online change.org petition titled, “We want justice for boy in Clarence, NY.”

The petition had more than 30,000 signatures before it was closed.
