The United States and Iran could sign a peace deal within 24 hours, Pakistan Prime Minister Shevaz Sharif claimed Saturday.

Pakistan, which has been the primary mediator and facilitator of peace negotiations between Tehran and Washington, is prepared for an electronic signing that could happen by tomorrow, according to Reuters.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan claimed an electronic signing is set for Sunday, according to a post on X.

But Iran has denied any deal is imminent.

A deal to end the months-long Middle East conflict will not be signed on Sunday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Saturday, according to Iran state media.

However, Baghaei said a deal, also referred to as Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), could be signed in the coming days.

Qatari and Pakistani officials had assured the White House on Friday that Iranians are “ready to sign,” according to a West Wing official.

That official said there was a “75-80 percent” chance that the MOU would be inked in the “next few days.”

Some details of the apparent agreement emerged Friday with the Trump administration vowing Iran would not see any financial benefits from the deal, and would have to earn sanctions relief.

“We have structured this in a way where it’s not built around trust, it’s built around physical milestones, it’s built around action, and it’s built around verification,” a senior administration official told reporters Friday.

The US has also maintained its naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which has been costing the regime $500 million per day.

“The Naval Blockade will remain in full force and effect until this Transaction is finalized,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

A deal would see Washington unfreeze $6 billion in oil revenues being held by Qatar in exchange for nuclear disarmament.

“Differences to date have been over sequencing, not substance,” a source previously told The Post.

An initial MOU would not settle all details, but would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and begin the process of sanctions relief with Iran’s destruction of an estimated 1,000 pounds of highly enriched uranium.
