Eerie video footage shows emergency warnings being tested out before Inauguration Day in almost empty streets around the US Capitol.
A short clip recorded Saturday afternoon shows the usually bustling streets near the Capitol building in Washington, DC, almost completely empty after the district put up a ring of steel amid ongoing threats of violence.

“Super dystopian,” said Remora House DC, a “collective” that helps the district’s homeless, as it shared the clip. “Super scary times we living in.”
