Nick Reiner appeared to be totally calm as he walked near his parents’ Brentwood home just hours before they were butchered, sending shockwaves through Hollywood.

The 32-year-old — dressed in blue jeans, a long-sleeve shirt, baseball cap and carrying a backpack — strolled by a local gas station just before midnight Saturday, as seen in footage obtained by The Post.

Rob and Michele Reiner were killed early Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney. The new surveillance footage places Nick close to the family home hours before his parents’ slayings.

The gas station is only a few blocks from the Reiners’ Brentwood home. Nick can be seen walking in a direction away from the property.

Reiner and his parents got into a “very loud argument” earlier in the night at a holiday party hosted by Conan O’Brien, sources confirmed to The Post. Nick also got into it with comedian Bill Hader at the same bash, storming off in a huff, according to NBC News.

It’s unclear when exactly the family left the party Saturday night.

Rob and Michele Reiner were discovered stabbed to death around 3:30 p.m. Sunday by their daughter, Romy. The couple, who married in 1989, reportedly had their throats slashed — and Romy warned officers that Nick was “dangerous,” TMZ reported.

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department descended on the gas station near the Reiners’ home Monday morning — a day after Rob and Michele’s bodies were discovered — to find possible surveillance footage of Nick in the area, a source told The Post.

Investigators requested the footage be cued up to show a certain timeframe, and when Reiner appeared, they exclaimed, “There he is,” the source said. The timestamp displayed on the surveillance footage is incorrect, and is actually one hour ahead of local time, the source added.

Reiner checked into the Pierside Santa Monica Hotel around 4 a.m. Sunday, according to TMZ.

He appeared to be “tweaked out” at check-in, but did not have any blood or cuts visible, the outlet said. When hotel staff later entered Reiner’s room, they found a “shower full of blood” and blood on the bed, TMZ reported.

Reiner was arrested by the LAPD Gang and Narcotics Unit around 9:15 p.m. Sunday. Dramatic footage showed officers in unmarked cruisers swoop in to take him down near LA’s Exposition Park neighborhood.

Reiner was charged with two counts of murder for the slayings of Rob and Michele.
