Dramatic video captured the moment Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s gun-wielding wife surrendered outside her Los Angeles home after being shot and wounded by cops when she allegedly inserted herself into a bizarre Hollywood-style chase.  

The saga involving author Jillian Shriner, 51, erupted in the northeast Los Angeles neighborhood of Eagle Rock Wednesday afternoon as police were chasing down three men from an earlier hit-and-run on the nearby highway. 

Cops with the Los Angeles Police Department said they were assisting California Highway Patrol officers in the hunt for the three perps, who had just fled the scene of the wreck on the Ventura Freeway, when one of them was spotting running through a backyard.  

It was then that they came face-to-face with the musician’s wife – who was brandishing a handgun — in the front yard of her home.

They ordered Jillian to drop the gun “numerous times” — but she refused and pointed it directly at the officers, police alleged.

Cops then opened fire and struck her in the shoulder before she fled into her home.

Aerial footage captured by KTLA helicopters showed Jillian emerging from her property a short time later with the family’s baby-sitter.

The two women could be seen walking down the driveway with their hands raised in the air before they lied face down in the middle of the street.

Cops in tactical gear quickly moved in and cuffed them both, the clip shows.

A young boy was then spotted emerging from the home, too, with his hands up.

The self-described rock-wife was taken to the hospital where she was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police recovered a 9-mm handgun from her home in the aftermath.

She was later booked on suspicion of attempted murder for wielding the gun at officers and cut loose after posting a $1 million bond, LA County jail records showed.

Meanwhile, separate bird’s-eye view footage captured the three-car crash that kicked off the entire ordeal – with cops eventually arresting a suspect in his boxers after he stripped down to evade capture.

The entire saga unfolded when CHP officers were first called to the wreck eastbound on the Ventura Freeway, cops said.

A massive manhunt got underway after the three suspects fled on foot.

One suspect allegedly stripped down to his boxers and tried to blend into the neighborhood by jumping into a pool of a home and watering plants.

Following the ordeal involving Shriner’s wife, KTLA’s helicopter then captured the moment officers arrested the underwear-clad perp.

Alana Altmeyer and Guy Binn, a brother and sister who witnesses the initial crash, saw the suspects trying to flee and started chasing them down.

One of the men tripped and fell while trying to cross the busy freeway.

“I chased him down the side of the freeway, across the freeway, over a couple of fences,” Binn told KTLA.

“He had a bag and a sweater. I got his bag. I got his sweater and me being so old, I couldn’t keep up with the guy. I chased him to the park, and I lost him.” 

The suspect was the same man who later stripped down to his boxers and was eventually nabbed.

The two other suspects remained on the run, cops said.  

Representatives for Shriver and his wife didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

It wasn’t clear why Jillian, who is the author of two bestselling memoirs, 2010’s “Some Girls: My Life in a Harem” and 2015’s “Everything You Ever Wanted”, became embroiled in the chase.

Jillian hasn’t yet made a court appearance and it was not clear whether she had hired a lawyer. 

She married her rock star husband in 2005 and they share two kids.
