Progressive presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s campaign announced Thursday it had raised $2.8 million after her strong debate performance Wednesday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Massachusetts Democrat’s team said on Twitter that the campaign had its best post-debate fundraising haul of the entire campaign.

The senator also raised a staggering $425,000 in a 30-minute span during the fiery debate, according to her campaign’s chief mobilization officer, appearing to confirm that the donation spike was a direct result of her debate performance.

During the debate, Warren skewered 2020 Democratic rival Michael Bloomberg, taking him to task over past “racist” policies such as “stop-and-frisk” and allegations that he fostered a sexist work environment at his company, Bloomberg LP.

“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against — a billionaire who calls women ‘fat broads’ and ‘horse-faced lesbians,’ and no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump, I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg,” she said.

“Democrats are not going to win if we have a nominee who has a history of hiding his tax returns, harassing women and racist policies,” she added in an effort to align Bloomberg with the current commander-in-chief.

Warren, who had floundered in the polls in recent weeks, was also the most tweeted-about 2020 Democratic candidate after the debate, Twitter announced Wednesday night.

The social media platform also said Warren was responsible for the two most tweeted-about moments, the first being her confrontation with Bloomberg and the second her defense of Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.).

Warren defended the Minnesotan when Klobuchar was pressed on forgetting the name of Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Warren, who had just knocked Klobuchar’s health care proposal by calling it a Post-it note, said that the criticism of the Minnesota senator for forgetting a name was wrong.

“Can I defend Sen. Klobuchar for a minute? This is not right. I understand that she forgot the name. It happens. It happens to everybody on this stage.”
