A Texas woman has been charged with causing her hubby’s death by giving him a sherry enema.
Prosecutors say Tammy Jean Warner, 42, of Lake Jackson, pumped two bottles of sherry into Michael Warner, 58, raising his blood-alcohol level to 0.47 percent – nearly six times the level considered legally drunk in Texas.
“We’re not talking about little bottles here. These were at least 1.5-liter bottles,” said Detective Robert Turner.

A Los Angeles concert hall owned by a church has canceled a show by the heavy-metal rockers “Lamb of God” after finding out the band used to be called “Burn the Priest.”
“It’s a fair assumption that some of the stuff they are singing may be antithetical to our beliefs,” said Marc Little of the Faithful Central Bible Church.

A single mom-to-be is auctioning off her eight-months pregnant belly to be used as ad space.
Elise Harp of Roswell, Ga., got the idea after a Nebraska man raised $35,000 on eBay by selling his forehead as a billboard for a month.
Harp says she’d be willing to walk around local malls with her logo-imprinted belly exposed, “to help build my daughter’s nursery and buy her the necessities she needs.”

When Toby, a Jack Russell puppy, was startled by a gunshot and jumped off a 70-foot cliff into a busy shipping lane, everybody figured he was a goner.
Except Toby.
After surviving the death-defying plunge in Plymouth Sound, off the southwest coast of England, the scrappy pooch paddled a mile across a bay and climbed onto a rock, where a boat crew picked him up.
“It’s a true miracle he’s still with us,” said Toby’s owner, David Lee.
