Eric and Jacque Scholl thought things were getting weird when their house in Tulsa, Okla., started buzzing.

They investigated to find more than 20,000 bees in huge hives beneath the second floor.

The bad news is that they had to clear out and hire beekeepers to get rid of them. The good news is they get a year’s supply of honey.

An Israeli man angry with his wife over money matters set fire to 3 million shekels – that’s $680,000 – on the lawn of his affluent suburban home.

After reaching the end of his rope in the marital spat, he opened the family safe, took out fistfuls of bank notes, stuffed them in sacks, dragged them outside and lit them up.

“In 36 years, I have seen nothing like it,” said one fireman in Rehovet, near Tel Aviv.

An Italian judge found a teen thug guilty of vandalism, slander and disturbing the peace – but instead of jail time, he’s ordered him to slim down.

The judge said the 17-year-old boy’s 220- pound frame made him a “bully,” and a diet will “reinforce his self-esteem” and turn him into an honest citizen.

In other words, he’s got to be a loser to be a winner.

Doctors had to be summoned to separate a bride and the best man after they were caught in the act during a wedding in Croatia.

The two were trapped together by a muscle spasm after a friend of the groom walked in on them having sex in the toilet.

Unable to be pulled apart, the couple had to endure a line of guests who came to see what was happening before doctors injected the bride with a muscle relaxant, allowing the best man to get free.

The stunned groom is now seeking a divorce.

An Austrian resort is offering guests the chance to swim in a pool filled with 42,000 pints of beer.

The Starkenber Beer Myth Spa claims the brew heals various skin diseases, but some guests are drinking it up as they swim in it.

“I would rather swim than swallow, as we serve enough of a cold, fresh tapped beer on the bars next to the pools,” said manager Markus Amann.
