A Boston teen’s cell phone saved his life this week – without his dialing 911 or making a call.

The phone – attached to the 15-year-old’s waistband – deflected a bullet fired at him by another youth.

The gunman was caught a short time later when he acted strangely after walking into a day-care center looking – would you believe – for a phone.

Stickupmen in Sao Paulo, Brazil, were robbing a car-repair shop when a deliveryman arrived with a pizza the workers had ordered. The gang locked up him up.

When the pizza guy didn’t return, the pizzeria sent another deliveryman to check. He, too, was locked up.

When he didn’t return, the pizzeria manager went to check. When he didn’t return, the owner called police. End of holdup.

A Chinese man on a life-support machine almost died because his son neglected to pay the electric bill.

The son didn’t realize his oversight until the lights went out in his home. He immediately contacted the local power company in Tongzhou and had the electricity restored before his father’s condition deteriorated.

It’s amazing he was able to get through so quickly.

A German man who was too drunk to remember the sexual services he ordered at a brothel is getting back the 9,000 euros – $9,720 – that was charged to his credit card.

A court ordered the reimbursement after owners of the Kaarst brothel “failed to provide concrete documentation of the prices and services provided.”

“They should have, for example, listed two sexual-intercourse sessions at 600 euros, oral sex at 300 euros or anal sex at 400 euros a go,” said a court spokeswoman.

A car crashed into a Wisconsin bagel shop – injuring two women sitting at a table and scattering glass and debris everywhere.

But the driver walked away uninjured, and the late-model Cadillac was still functioning.

Its license plate? “PSALM 91” – “No evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.”
