Three men who went streaking through a Denny’s restaurant were chilled and chagrined when they spotted a thief drive off in their getaway car – with their clothes inside.

Naked in the chilly North Spokane, Wash., weather, the three young men huddled behind cars in a parking lot until police arrived.

“I don’t think they were hiding. I think they were just concealing themselves,” police spokesman Dick Cottam said.

The Pennsylvania town of Dale is becoming a real trashy place to live since officials decided not to collect the garbage of residents who don’t pay their sanitation bills.

“We are not playing games anymore,” said Councilwoman Lisa Howard.

Sarah Stern may want to move. Her usually peaceful Colorado home was hit by a car and then a truck within a 32-day period.

The crashes destroyed her porch, part of her living room and her lilac bushes.

“The insurance company can’t believe it either,” said Stern, of Longmont. “I’ve lived here since 1981. We’ve never been hit. Now, we’ve been hit twice.”

Fear of mad-cow disease hasn’t put a damper on the menu at the Hilltop Inn in Evansville, Ind., where customers are still scarfing down fried cow-brain sandwiches.

The recipe, in which the brains are dipped in seasoned batter and then deep-fried, has been a local specialty for years.

“I think I’ll have hardening of the arteries before I have mad-cow disease,” said diner Cecelia Coan, who orders the gross-out delicacy to go. “This is better than snail, better than sushi, better than a lot of different delicacies.”

A deranged woman tore off her shirt and bra aboard a jet in Australia and screamed at passengers that she had a vision they were all going to die in a 9/11-style tragedy.

Passengers were still stunned after the ordeal on the Virgin Blue flight from Hobart to Melbourne. “Everyone was pretty freaked out,” one flier said. “[When] we landed, the whole plane applauded.”

The 23-year-old woman was released into the custody of her parents.
