Hundreds of Florida seniors set a world record this week – forming the longest line of golf carts ever.
The oldsters from the Hernando County retirement community of Timber Pines formed a parade of 1,138 golf carts, shattering the previous record of 306 set in December.

A burglar broke into a gas station – then called the cops after cutting his hand on broken of glass.
The 18-year-old thief, who was drunk, first told officers on Whidbey Island, Wash., that he’d tried to break up a burglary and was attacked by men with a baseball bat – but a security camera caught the real story on tape.
“Criminals are not particularly smart. That’s how they get caught,” said Island County sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Smith.

A frustrated Afghan soldier who could not afford to get married has been released without charge after being caught having sex with a donkey.
The soldier, who was not identified, was detained after a young boy spotted him with the animal in an abandoned house in the southeastern town of Gardez.
“The man insisted he had no other choice but the donkey because he could not afford to pay a dowry,” a police spokesman said.

A San Diego-born panda named Hua Mei has been flown to Beijing to watch sex videos featuring pandas mating to prepare her for “blind dates” with Chinese suitors.
Officials say the crash course is necessary because 4-year-old Hua Mei, who was born in captivity, is clueless.
