Two thieves got a taste of their own “money” when they passed $300 worth of fake bills at a Wal-Mart near Cincinnati.

Store workers said a man who bought a DVD player and some movies last week paid for them with counterfeit cash.

When a woman returned a few hours later to return the same items, workers recognized the receipt and gave her back the bogus bills.

The duo later returned to complain about the counterfeit money, but the store told them to call the cops. Police are looking for the couple.

A Brazilian photographer is on a mission to clean up his country’s beaches by picking up garbage, figuring out where it comes from and returning it to its respective embassies.

Fabio Barreto, who runs an organization called Global Garbage, said he has identified rubbish from 69 different countries on the Costa dos Coqueiros beach, north of the city of Salvador.

A British couple named their newborn baby son Drew Peacock before realizing it sounded rude.

The boy’s father said he realized the name was offensive only after he “started repeating ‘Drew Peacock’ over and over again. Then I thought – what have we done?”

Russell said they don’t want to change his name because “it’s on his birth certificate.”

Cuban farmer Jorge Marquez has been struck by lightning five times in 22 years – and says he has tried to look on the bright side, but avoids going out on rainy days.

“I don’t trust my luck anymore,” said Marquez, who received his first jolt in 1982. “As soon as it starts to rain, I look for some isolating material. I don’t want to go through it a sixth time!”

Newly elected mayor Viorel Crasmaru said the town lacked money to give him both a car and an office – so he decided to take the car.
