A Florida minister giving a sermon collapsed and died in mid-sentence as he told parishioners, “And when I go to heaven . . . ”

The Rev. Jack Arnold, 69, was nearing the end of his sermon at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Oviedo when he grabbed the podium and fell.

“It was traumatic, but how wonderful it was he died in his own church among the people he loved the most,” said associate pastor Michael Beates.

Ben Lipscomb took off his underwear – and saved his life.

When the Arkansas duck hunter got hopelessly lost in the flooded backwoods of Bayou Meto, he removed his white briefs, tied them to the end of his gun barrel and began waving. The pilot of a police chopper spotted him and made the rescue.

“It was a real humbling experience,” said Lipscomb, who ate raw duck to survive.

Is it a school or a nudist colony?

Officials at Neuqua Valley HS in Illinois say a mystery man has been strolling naked through the hallways and girls’ locker room.

“We are not sure what his purpose behind this is. We are not sure of his thought process,” said Naperville police Sgt. Joel Truemper.

Stands to reason the guy has no, uh, class.

An Australian granny got into a sticky situation when she confused her eyedrops with Superglue.

Nurses who worked on 78-year-old Terry Horder used vegetable oil to remove the glue.

“About 10 minutes later, I was good as new,” said Horder, who lives in Wurtulla.

A man woke up in an airport lounge to find his leg amputated.

Ronald Jurisch, vacationing in Costa Rica, went to a doctor when his leg swelled up.

Concerned surgeons doped him up, cut off his leg, and then deposited him at the airport to return to Germany.

“My suitcases were by my side and then I realized my leg was missing. When I checked my wallet I found that $375 had been taken out and replaced with a receipt for the amputation.

“It was like a bad dream,” said Jurisch, 50, who plans to sue.
