A border wall is not the only barrier the president has in the works.

The White House is getting a new fence that’s almost double the height of the current one, according to reports.

The new structure will be just over 13 feet tall. The current fence is 6-foot-6.

The change is aimed at keeping out intruders following years of arrests of individuals who tried to scale the fence, according to the Washington Post.

The White House is a National Historic Landmark maintained by the National Park Service, with security from the Secret Service.

The new fence won’t be “that different from what’s there now, but it’s a great increase in scale,” Thomas Luebke, secretary of the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, told the Washington Post.

Construction is set to begin this summer.
