A UK woman who pranked her husband that she had won the lottery ended up hitting the jackpot for real three weeks later — raking in four times as much money as she had originally claimed, according to a new report.

Charlotte Peart, 28, of the market town Whittlesey, matched five numbers on the Aug. 28 EuroMillions HotPicks drawing she had entered online — winning 1 million pounds — about $1.3 million, The Guardian reported.

Just weeks earlier, Peart fibbed that she had won 250,000 pounds — nearly $324,000 — and this time around, her husband, Daniel Peart, 27, said he didn’t want to fall for yet another joke.

So when Charlotte called him at work to tell him of the genuine win, he brushed off the call.

“Actually, he said ‘I can’t talk to you right now, love’ and ended up putting his brother on the phone,” Charlotte told the paper. “It was definitely crazy and not a normal day.”

“I didn’t believe her at all because we like to wind each other up,” her husband added.

Charlotte used the last 1.50 pounds — just under two dollars — in her online lottery account to enter the winning draw, according to the report.

Charlotte, who is an administrative worker, and Daniel, a self-employed carpenter, live with their three children in a three-bedroom house, according to the report. With their winnings, they’re planning for an upgrade.

“With a family of five it gets a little cramped, a little tight,” Daniel told the paper. “All the kids have earned their own bedrooms, they’re all excited about that and we’re looking forward to the next adventure in our lives.”

The married couple of five years, who met in high school, have also treated the kids to hoverboards and a Nintendo Switch console.

“The biggest thing for us is we get to spend more time as a family and we don’t have to worry so much,” Daniel told the paper.
