A Japanese woman has been busted for stalking a police officer whom she fell in “love” with — after he arrested her for doing the same thing to another man.

Kanako Onishi, 37, who lives in Kyoto, first encountered the married Nara police officer when he arrested her in October in another stalking case, according to the Tokyo Reporter.

She then sent the unidentified officer in his 40s three letters, including one in which she asked him to marry her, the outlet reported.

“I don’t want to live apart. I think I’m in love,” she reportedly wrote in an April 22 letter.

Onishi was arrested again Monday and admitted to the stalking allegations, police said.

“I couldn’t rely on [the other police officers], so I relied on [victim],” Onishi reportedly said.

She has been ordered to stay away from the officer, the outlet reported.
