A woman in Georgia allegedly burned down a house because her boyfriend told her he was going to visit another woman, authorities said.

Earnica Latrice Lowe, 32, is facing a felony arson count after fire investigators in Cobb County say she intentionally ignited a blaze inside a home at 2404 Red Barn Road on June 18, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Lowe was at the residence with the homeowner’s stepson when the man told her he was going to see another “female companion,” according to a fire department report.

Lowe — who was described as the man’s “female companion” — later called the man and warned him to return or else something was “going to happen,” the report said.

Firefighters responded to the home and were met by a “large amount of fire” after someone sleeping in a recreational vehicle on the property saw smoke emanating from a power box attached to the two-story ranch home that was appraised at more than $83,000, according to county property records.

“You know why I did it,” Lowe later told the man, according to the report.

Lowe, who is listed as homeless in a Cobb County Sheriff’s Office booking report, was arrested Sunday. She’s now being held without bond, jail records show. It’s unclear if she’s hired an attorney.
