Well, this husband probably won’t show up empty-handed on his anniversary ever again.

Florida officials said a man who forgot his wedding anniversary Wednesday was injured in an altercation with his wife, Carol Stone, about his lapse in memory, news station WVTV reported.

The husband told Pasco County deputies the argument began when he admitted to his 35-year-old wife that he didn’t remember their special day.

The fight allegedly turned physical, with Stone smacking him “multiple times” in the head and face, authorities said.

Using his cellphone, the husband recorded the incident and turned over the footage to deputies, according to authorities.

Stone reportedly confessed the reason why she became violent and was arrested on domestic battery charges.
