As questions continue to swirl about the Las Vegas massacre, another local incident has left police scratching their heads.

Investigators are trying to figure out where a man was killed on Thursday after the woman who found him and reported the fatal shooting forgot where it went down.

The woman brought the victim to a gas station and asked workers to call 911, but was apparently too drunk to remember where she found him or what happened.

“I’m not sure if she understood fully where she was at when she pulled in here,” Lt. Dan McGrath of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told News3LV.

“We have a lot more questions right now,” he said.

The victim was killed sometime before 6 a.m. Thursday, according to police.

Officials said the woman who was with him was too intoxicated to remember even the slightest of details, such as what time he was shot or the people involved.

The Clark County Coroner has not released the victim’s name.

Cops do not believe he was shot inside the car or at the gas station, News3LV reports.

The bewildering incident comes as local authorities continue to try and piece together the motive behind the Las Vegas massacre.

“Unfortunately, we have another young person who is dead of gun violence,” McGrath said.

Police were still investigating the shooting as of Thursday night.
