What a dummy!

A Long Island motorist was busted by police after she was caught driving in the HOV lane of the Long Island Expressway with a fake “passenger” Thursday morning, cops said.

Suffolk County Highway Patrol Officer Andrew Spina pulled over Candice Breen-Warren, 61, who was traveling in the left lane of the westbound expressway near Exit 51 in Dix Hills around 8:15 a.m. when he became suspicious of the front-seat passenger, police said.

When the officer pulled over the driver’s 2011 Subaru Outback he saw the “passenger,” which was made of up piled clothing, a messenger bag and topped with a Bronx Zoo baseball hat.

Breen-Warren was hit with a summons for the HOV occupancy violation, as well as driving an unregistered and un-inspected vehicle, police said.
