A 23-year-old woman died aboard a flight from London’s Heathrow Airport to Newark on Monday, authorities said.

The unidentified woman was treated by a doctor aboard the United Airlines flight but was pronounced dead by the medical examiner when the jet landed about 10 p.m., NJ.com said.

It was not clear what caused the woman’s death. Port Authority officials could not be reached early Tuesday.
