A 41-year-old woman is missing after going on a hike last week at Yosemite National Park in California, officials said.

Yu Xie, who also goes by Alice, is believed to have set out to trek the Upper Yosemite Fall overlook on Friday or Saturday morning, the National Park Service said.

She had traveled from Mariposa on a bus Friday to the national park, but hasn’t been heard from since then, officials said.

Xie, who is a Chinese national living in the US, has neck-length black hair and is believed to have been carrying a small speckled green backpack when she vanished.

Officials are asking hikers on the trail on either Friday or Saturday to call if they have any information about her possible whereabouts.
