With a bra like this, who needs a bulletproof vest?

A Brazilian woman has her bra — and its underwiring — to thank for stopping a bullet from killing her during a robbery, the Daily Mail reported.

Ivete Medeiros, a resident of the northern city of Belem, left a supermarket to check out a commotion outside when she was hit by the bullet.

Surveillance video shows her being assisted as her husband calls for help. She was relieved not to see any blood — but then felt “a little burning sensation” and found the round stuck in her bra.

She showed reporters where the busted bullet had struck on the way to her heart, only to be stopped in its tracks by the undergarment.

Shockingly, at least one other bra has been credited with performing life-saving duties. In 2009, the underwire of a Detroit woman’s bra deflected a bullet fired during a break-in at a neighbor’s home, the Associated Press reported.

The 57-year-old woman apparently looked out her window when one of three men fired the round, which smashed through the window pane and hit her bra without penetrating her skin.
