A construction worker cheated death after a crane toppled over, narrowly missing him, in a terrifying scene in China.

Heart-stopping security footage shows the moment the crane, which was working on the 23rd floor of a high-rise building, comes crashing to the ground.

The noise of the crane falling over was described as “sounding like an earthquake,” according to nearby residents close to the high-rise building in the city of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, in eastern China, local media reported.
