A flight attendant was stabbed to death with a pair of scissors at a 5-star Dubai hotel by her jealous ex-husband, according to reports.
Russian national Albert Morgan, 41, was arrested on suspicion of murder immediately after his plane touched down in St. Petersburg hours after 25-year-old Anastasia was found slain with at least 15 stab wounds at the fancy Voco Bonnington hotel in the heart of Dubai last week.
Anastasia, a flight attendant with Russian Pobeda Airlines, was allegedly stabbed to death in a Dubai hotel room. Anastasia N/e2wMorgan, a legal consultant, allegedly “stalked” his ex-wife to the United Arab Emirates, believing she had been working as a high-end escort while they were still married, investigators said.
He allegedly posed as a guest, put on a hotel robe he nicked from the laundry room and persuaded a maid to let him into the woman’s room.
Morgan reportedly requested he be sent to fight for Russia in the Ukraine war. social media; east2west newsMorgan initially planned to douse her in green paint and use the scissors to chop off her hair, but when he arrived, a fight erupted and Morgan allegedly killed Anastasia and fled.
The woman, who worked for Russian airline Pobeda, was found with at least 15 stab wounds to her neck, torso and limbs, according to Russian investigators.
She was only identified as Anastasia, according to Russian media.
After two years of marriage, the couple split and the suspected killer allegedly went into Anastasia’s private messages and made the 2,700-mile trip with an accomplice — a bailiff from St. Petersburg.

Once in custody, Morgan reportedly asked to be sent to fight for Russia in Ukraine — a ploy that many alleged Russian criminals have used to skip prison time.
However, a judge ordered he be detained for at least two months as the investigation continues.
Morgan, who changed his name to match the US banking dynasty after he served seven years in prison on drug charges, had domestic disputes with Anastasia in the past, but she withdrew all of her complaints against him, local media said.
