Hamas allegedly killed at least five people when the terrorist group targeted a bus full of Palestinian aid workers in the Gaza Strip, a US- and Israeli-backed foundation claimed.
The American-based Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) claims the Islamic terror group attacked the transport vehicle late Wednesday night after days of threatening the group for the work helping the Palestinians.
“Tonight, at approximately 10 p.m. Gaza time, a bus carrying more than two-dozen members of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation team, local Palestinians working side-by-side with the US GHF team to deliver critical aid, were brutally attacked by Hamas,” the foundation said in a statement.

Five people were killed and multiple injuries have been reported by the organization.
The foundation fears Hamas took some of its workers hostage.
“We condemn this heinous and deliberate attack in the strongest possible terms. These were aid workers. Humanitarians. Fathers, brothers, sons, and friends, who were risking their lives everyday to help others. Our hearts are broken and our thoughts and prayers are with every victim, every family, and every person still unaccounted for,” the statement read.
The GHF claims Hamas’ attack was premeditated after the terror group threatened the organization and other aid workers helping civilians receive aid in the war-torn Gaza Strip.

We call on the international community to immediately condemn Hamas for this unprovoked attack and continued threat against our people simply trying to feed the Palestinian people,” the GHF said.
GHF is backed by Israel and the US to distribute food in Gaza, cutting out the terror group from the supply chain by handing the critical aid directly to Palestinian citizens.
The mission was launched after Israel imposed a total blockade on all supplies to Gaza for nearly three months, an order denounced by the United Nations, which feared it would cause famine to the over 2 million people living in the territory.
