Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu checked out of a hospital against medical advice on Tuesday to attend a critical budget vote — just days after undergoing prostate surgery.
The 75-year-old leader was spotted arriving at Israel’s Knesset with his personal doctor after earlier leaving the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, the Times of Israel reported.
Netanyahu appeared to be visibly “drawn and tired” as he took his seat inside the parliament for the series of crucial votes, according to the outlet.

Netanyahu was reported to be in a good condition and fully conscious in the wake of the two hour surgery, his office said in the aftermath.
“The Prime Minister has now been transferred to a protected underground recovery unit. He is expected to remain in the hospital for observation in the next few days,” his office said in a statement on Sunday.

The operation took place as Netanyahu manages war with Iran’s terror proxies, including Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, and as he faces his own corruption trial.
