Kate Middleton quickly wrote “every word” of her cancer announcement to “speak directly to the public.”
The Princess of Wales, 42, penned the speech to silence the widespread rumors and speculation about her health after she had major abdominal surgery in January.
“It allowed her to speak directly to the public who, overwhelmingly, have always been with her and her family and who don’t buy into the noise and gossip,” a close friend of Middleton told the Sunday Times.
“It was all her, she wrote every word of it, it came together very quickly.”
Middleton — who for weeks had been the target of wild conspiracy theories surrounding her absence from public life — released the moving video shot on a bench while thanking her supporters for their concern.
“Wales and the World is with you ♥️ HRH Princess of Wales. Love to you always,” actress Catherine Zeta-Jones wrote on Instagram.
Gwyneth Paltrow also sent her well-wishes in a sweet message shared on the princess’s official Instagram page.
“A pillar of grace and strength! Sending love,” the “Shakespeare In Love” star penned.
Meanwhile, support for Middleton came from family and celebrities alike — with a report claiming Prince Harry and Meghan Markle contacted their estranged family members to offer support.
The Sussexes were thought to have “privately” reached out to Middleton and her husband late Friday, according to the Daily Mail.
It was unknown if the Sussexes made a phone or video call or left a simple message of support, the outlet added.
The couple, however, offered their support shortly after Middleton’s worldwide reveal.
“We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in a statement Friday.
Britain’s King Charles is “frustrated” by the pace of his recuperation from cancer, his nephew Peter Phillips said on Sunday, becoming the first member of the royal family to speak in detail about how the monarch was faring.
Mere minutes after the world learned of Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis, tech entrepreneur Christopher Bouzy cast doubt on the British royal family and likened the heartbreaking video announcement to “North Korean propaganda.”
The palace lied, and the British press happily helped them lie. The countless "conspiracy theory" headlines, while knowing a lot of what was being said was true. This is really some North Korea / Trumpian type of propaganda. pic.twitter.com/Qr5SWtLQdL

Kate Middleton spoke from the heart when making the announcement that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
“She wrote every word herself,” an insider told People Sunday, referencing the Princess of Wales’ video speech, which was filmed by the BBC in the gardens of Windsor Castle last week.
A separate source added, “She wrote the words herself, delivered it personally and wanted to decide when the time was right to hit the world with this news.”
Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith sheepishly apologized for criticizing Meghan Markle, whom he nicknamed “laughing girl,” in an interview with The Times UK.
“As many will have seen, I am featured in Saturday’s ‘Times Magazine.’ This interview and shoot was done over a week ago and went to print before I was aware of the sad news regarding my niece Kate,” the “Celebrity Big Brother” alum, 58, tweeted via X over the weekend.

The royal couple had planned to be more open about Middleton's condition with the public after she seemingly lost their trust following several scandals resulting from a photoshop image published to social media.
“They will want to be clear and more open, but they’ll do it when they feel ready. I would expect that to be her instinct and it will be her call. They’re not going to be rushed,” the newspaper reported, citing friends of the family.
The “Celebrity Big Brother” alum slammed the Duchess of Sussex, whom he nicknamed “laughing girl,” and her marriage to Prince Harry in a new interview with the Times.
“Let’s face it, Laughing Girl isn’t going to be around forever, is she?” he told the outlet. “I think she’s fickle. And I think she’s so bad for Harry and for our country.”

(Markle never disclosed the names of the alleged racist royals, however, Dutch copies of Omid Scobie’s new biography, “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival” claimed it was Middleton and King Charles III.)
