An obese dog miraculously survived being run over by a car thanks to all the flab on his 140-pound frame.
Video shows the hefty hound, Yuanyuan, lounging in the road in the Chinese city of Huangzhou last Thursday when a black car suddenly drives over him, pinning him under the front left tire.
The chubby pooch howls for help as nearly a dozen people race into action, lifting the car to free the dog.

Yuanyuan miraculously suffered no broken bones or internal bleeding, x-rays show. NXYuanyuan’s owner rushed the portly pup to the vet hospital — but X-rays revealed that the crushed pooch somehow escaped breaking any bones or bleeding internally, according to NewsX.
The vet put it down to Yuanyuan being cushioned by his extra layers of fat, the report said.
The video went viral across Chinese social media, with users joking that “fat really can save lives,” according to NewsX.
Neighbors ran over and helped lift the car off of the dog. NXYuanyuan is now reportedly in good shape and is back to his lethargic self, with video showing him eating and playing in a water fountain. He has a check-up scheduled in the coming days — with the biggest worry, ironically, that he could end up losing too much weight.
