Hamas, Hezbollah and apparent Houthi terrorists all separately fired rockets at Israel on Monday — the one-year anniversary of the brutal Oct. 7 terror attack on the Jewish state that ignited the ongoing war.
Israel responded to the air assaults by launching retaliatory strikes on the Palestinian terrorists in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Hamas, which invaded Israel a year ago and slaughtered more than 1,200 people during the October massacre, fired several rockets at Tel Aviv early Monday, hitting the village of Kfar Chabad near the Ben Gurion International Airport, according to the Israel Defense Force.
Israeli officials said at least two people suffered minor injuries.
The Hamas attack, launched from Khan Younis in Gaza, coincided with a missile barrage from Hezbollah terrorists, who fired at Haifa, Israel’s third-largest city.

It was the first direct attack on the northern city, which had previously managed to evade the Iran-backed terror group’s daily strikes.
A total of 15 Hezbollah missiles were fired at Haifa and the town of Tiberias, with several rockets intercepted by Israel’s air defense system, according to the IDF.
Several buildings and properties were damaged by the blasts, with verified videos in Haifa capturing the moment one of the rockets hit the city.
The Hezbollah rockets launched at Haifa and Tiberias were among morethan 130 missiles fired at northern Israel from Lebanon as of Monday morning, the IDF said.
A missile also was fired Monday at central Israel from Yemen, where Houthi terrorists are based, the Israeli military said. It was intercepted by Israel’s air-defense system. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the rocket, but the Houthis have attacked Israel in the past.
In retaliation, the IDF fired several rockets at the site of where Hamas launched its rockets in Khan Younis, with the military confirming that the weapons were destroyed following secondary explosions at the scene.
The Israeli military also took out alleged Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in Beirut, citing similar secondary explosions in the aftermath.
At least 10 Lebanese firefighters were killed by Israeli airstrikes Monday, Lebanon’s Health Ministry said, as thousands continue to flee the country because of the intense conflict.

REUTERSAs the battles intensify with Hezbollah, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested the conflict and the war in Gaza should both be labeled under the same banner called “The War of Revival,” the Times of Israel reports.
Speaking to his cabinet during the Oct. 7 anniversary, Netanyahu suggested the two-front conflict is essentially a battle for Israel’s survival.
“This is our war of existence, the ‘War of Revival,’” Netanyahu said.
“Our counterattack against our enemies in Iran’s axis of evil is a necessary condition for securing our future and ensuring our security,” he added.
“We will end the war when we complete all the goals we set: overthrowing the evil rule of Hamas, bringing all of our hostages home — both the dead and the living — thwarting any future threat from Gaza to Israel, and returning our residents in the south and north safely to their homes.”

Several ceremonies were also held around the world, with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris also condemning the terrorist attack while committing to a cease-fire to avoid war in the region.
“On this solemn anniversary, let us bear witness to the unspeakable brutality of the October 7th attacks but also to the beauty of the lives that were stolen that day,” Biden said in a statement as he pledged to help free the hostages, which include seven Americans.
“It is far past time for a hostage and ceasefire deal to end the suffering of innocent people,” Harris added. “And I will always fight for the Palestinian people to be able to realize their right to dignity, freedom, security, and self-determination.”
