This is the chilling moment a passenger plunged to his death from a cruise ship in front of horrified families, including young kids.

Tourist Kenji Lao Wang was filming on the 14-deck Norwegian Spirit on Thursday when a figure suddenly fell straight down from above two adults and a child who were looking out to sea.

After the sound of screaming, there was a loud splash as the man, only identified as a 30-year-old Taiwanese tourist named Li, fell to his death, according to the Sun, citing local reports.

“We were sightseeing on the deck at that time, just looking at the sea, and then we heard a huge noise,” one witness said, according to the news agency Jam Press.

“Then everyone looked towards us and someone realized that a passenger had fallen into the sea.”

The tragedy struck on a six-day trip from Taiwan to Nagasaki in Japan and South Korea’s Jeju Island, according to Taiwan’s TVBS TV.

The cruise was stopped for nearly 40 minutes while staff activated safety protocols and launched search boats, which found the body a short time later, according to the reports.

Initial investigations suggest the dead man fell after losing his footing on the ship’s top deck around 11 a.m., according to TVBS.

His body was reportedly stored in a freezer until the ship docked at Keelung Port, the outlet said.

Norwegian Cruise Line did not immediately respond to requests for comment Friday.
